An interesting and thorough article. Thanks! I prefer the pursuit of joy, a state that’s independent of happen stance.

Thanks so much! Really glad you liked it. And yeah, I love what you said—joy feels solid, like something you carry with you no matter what’s going on. Would actually love to hear what helps you stay in that vibe when life gets messy.

Several things, but my number one go-to is seeing (as best I can) and calling that messy thing “good”. Why? Because I get to say what it is. I choose. I’ve learned from my experience that there is always something good to gain from anything no matter how small or how well it hides. What’s yours?

That’s such a strong mindset, Netta—seriously, I like it. Reframing the messy stuff as “good” is such a flex of inner strength and awareness. For me, I think my go-to is slowing down and asking myself, “What’s this trying to teach me?” It helps shift me out of frustration and into curiosity. Sometimes I journal it out or just take a walk and talk to myself like a life coach 😂. I’m still working on it, but it’s helping me feel less like life’s happening to me and more like I’m actually co-creating it.
